Karen Covello-Paran

Karen Covello-Paran is a senior field and research archaeologist in the Archaeological Research Department of the Israel Antiquities Authority, ORCID 0000-0002-2778-1295. She holds a Ph.D. (2015) from Tel Aviv University and is a lecturer in the International MA Program in Ancient Israel Studies at Tel Aviv University. Dr. Covello-Paran was the co-director of the research project “The Archaeological Expression of Palace-Clan Relations” from 2019–2023 and has been the co-director of the Tel Shaddud Regional Project since 2022.
