Adam DiBattista

Adam DiBattista (PhD, UCLA) is an archaeologist studying the interactions between humans and animals in the Greek world. His research focuses on the use of animal materials in Greek sanctuaries, as well as the ivory trade in the ancient Mediterranean. Adam supervised excavations and studied faunal materials at the Ancient Methone Archaeological Project. Most recently, he held the Hirsch Fellowship at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
