David Karmon

David Karmon

David Karmon is assistant professor in the Department of Visual Arts at College of the Holy Cross. He received a professional degree at the Yale School of Architecture before completing his doctoral work in the history of art and architecture at Harvard University. He has published widely on issues relating to the history of archaeology, preservation, and architectural representation and is the recipient of numerous fellowships and awards. His book The Ruin of the Eternal City: Antiquity and Preservation in Renaissance Rome is forthcoming in 2011 from Oxford University Press.
