Angeliki Lebessi

Angeliki Lebessi is an ephor emerita of the Greek Archaeological Service. Her main interests are the art, religion, and society of Crete in the Early Iron Age. Her recent work has centered on the final publication and discussion of the material from the excavation of the sanctuary at Syme Viannou, which she directed from 1972 to 2003.
