Hoo-Goo Kang is a field archaeologist and Associate Professor at Seoul Jangsin University in Korea. He completed an M.A. and Ph.D. in archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has worked as an area supervisor for the excavations at Khirbet Qeiyafa and the Fourth Expedition to Lachish. His research focuses on pottery typology of the Iron Age and reconstruction of the history of ancient Israel. He is the co-author of Khirbet Qeiyafa Vol. 6: The Iron Age Pottery (2018) and numerous articles on the Iron Age history of ancient Israel.
