Gunnar Lehmann

Gunnar Lehmann is professor of ancient Near Eastern archaeology at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He holds his degrees from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. He has conducted fieldwork in Syria, Jordan, Turkey, and Israel. His area of specialization is the archaeology of Mesopotamia and the Levant.
