Jeroen Poblome

Jeroen Poblome teaches archaeology at the University of Leuven, Belgium. He works in Boeotia in central Greece and coordinates the Inventory of Crafts and Trade in the Roman East (ICRATES). Since 2014, he has directed the Sagalassos Archaeological Research Project, with an encompassing, strategically interdisciplinary research agenda approaching the long-term dynamic metabolism of social-ecological systems at the regional scale. He cofounded and coedits HEROM–Journal on Hellenistic and Roman Material Culture, which provides a forum for specific themes and concepts related to the study of past material culture and the presentation of important find assemblages.
