David Walsh

David Walsh recently submitted his doctorate, “Development, Decline and Demise: The Cult of Mithras ca. A.D. 270–430,” which he undertook at the University of Kent. He specializes in religious transformations in the Late Roman period, particularly along the northern frontiers. He has also recently published a paper, “Understanding the Status of the Cult of Mithras in the Tetrarchic Period: A Socio-Archaeological Approach,” in TRAC 2015: Proceedings of the 25th Annual Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference (forthcoming).
