Jane DeRose Evans

Jane DeRose Evans, professor in the Art History Department of Temple University, Philadelphia, has done most of her fieldwork in southern France, although she has also worked in Israel, Italy, England, and Philadelphia. Her specialty is numismatics, and she has recently published The Joint Expedition to Caesarea Maritima: Excavation Reports. Vol. 6, The Coins and the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine Economy of Palestine; currently she is the numismatic specialist for the Sardis Expeditions of Harvard University.
