Kevin Walsh

Kevin Walsh is senior lecturer in the Department of Archaeology at the University of York. He has completed research in the southern French Alps, the Roman mill at Barbegal, Montagne Sainte Victoire near Aix-en-Provence, and at Stymphalos in the northern Peloponnese. He is coeditor of two books: Interpretation of Sites and Material Culture from Mid-High Altitude Mountain Environments (Trento 2007) and Environmental Reconstruction in Mediterranean Landscape Archaeology (Oxford 1999). His single-authored book The Archaeology of Mediterranean Landscapes: Human-Environment Interaction from the Neolithic to the Roman Period is forthcoming in 2013.
